settling…

I’m moved
and settling

I’m currently living in a world
comprised of many boxes
and in an effort
to be gentle with myself

I’m unpacking slowly

I can’t help but think
my last place
which was a one bedroom
must have been
some kind of cramped
as this one has 2 bedrooms
a den
a living room
a dining room
a kitchen
and a bathroom

and I’ve enough
crap
to fill them all!

the only thing I need
is to bring down a 2nd bed
for the spare room
from my brother’s

course that’s not going to happen
till all the boxes are empty

when I find the camera
I’ll take some pix!

my brother did a simply marvelous job
painting the place
everything is a lovely
ephemeral green
and reflective
of the view out
all of my windows

if the weather ever heats up
I’ll be a verandah
type girl…
