Let it begin with me….

The world is skewed and we are to blame…somehow we let the bottom line of corporations become the determining factors for success as opposed to honoring and respecting the planet, her resources, the trees and water, family, farmers who feed us.

Corporations are laying people off in droves to keep all the surplus money they want and feel is their due.  People are loosing their homes, living on the streets, families are starving to death in many countries – and those that have so much are focused not on real need…but on their own need to decide what this season should really be about.

If we spent half the time focusing on humanity that we do on greed wouldn’t this be a better place for all?

Shouldn’t it be about love and kindness and giving? about caring for your fellow man, about life…not about who started what tradition and which one is correct…or who makes more money?  who’s idea was it anyway to count dollars as wining as opposed to lives? any manner of life?

I don’t know the answer…I just know that I don’t care what ya call the season as long as you do it from a position of kindness….with kindness in your heart we can accomplish anything.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I–
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
