I went up to the hospital
to see my pal Barney
who was in an head on collision
with a truck at 85 KPH
the EMS crew and the Dr’s
are convinced he wouldn’t have lived
had he not been wearing his seatbelt
as it stands
he has a shattered heel
and ankle
so he may never be able to
drive for a living again….
thereby loosing his livlihood
he is a little dazed and confused
and bored already
he has to undergo more surgery
and he doesn’t like that idea much
but he is alive
and that’s what counts!
