so I’ve been off work
\nfor 20+ months<\/p>\n
all of a sudden
\nin the last couple of days
\nI’ve had a lift
\nfrom the depression
\nthat was developing
\nover my financial
\nsituation<\/p>\n
possibly the idea
\nthat the worst is over
\nand I can get
\nback on track…<\/p>\n
I have a job to go to
\nthat’s now starting
\non the 5th of April
\nthe idea of paychecks
\nand places to go
\nhave caused me to
\nmake hopeful
\nplans for the future<\/p>\n
there was a handy man
\nin my house last week to
\nfix up my bathroom
\nsome new fixtures
\nand a new floor<\/p>\n
I’m very pleased with
\nthe bathroom reno
\nbut while he was here
\nhe changed out
\n3 of the 4 tubes
\nin my kitchen light<\/p>\n
holy daylight batman!
\nit’s like someone
\nhas put an SAD lamp
\nin my kitchen
\nand its affecting me<\/p>\n
I’m doing housework
\nlittle bits at a time
\nseeing as I currently have
\na bum knee
\n(which I might add
\nturns out to have been
\na pinch not a tear
\nand is way better
\njust from immobilizing
\nand icing it)<\/p>\n
but seeing as my bathroom
\nhas been refitted
\nI now have worked
\non my kitchen
\ncos
\nI can now see
\njust how much
\nI’ve neglected in there<\/p>\n
I’ve actually
\nvacuumed the den and my room
\nno small feat
\nwhile keeping a leg straight<\/p>\n
I’ve dusted the den
\nlikely will dust the bedroom today
\nwhich leaves me with the
\ndinette and living room
\nwho knows what I’ll get up to?<\/p>\n
I’ve got too much stuff
\nI’ve got plans to do
\nthings with the stuff
\nshredding
\ngifting
\nputting away<\/p>\n
and I have an urge
\nto be here
\nmore often
\nthan I have in a long time<\/p>\n
