\nand phone in exactly
\nthe same place
\nwhen I walk in the door
\nor I’m hooped<\/p>\n
yesterday
\nI came home from work
\nearly
\nas I’m still sick<\/p>\n
4th bout of antibiotics
\nin 3 mths
\nand these morons
\nstill don’t know for sure
\nwhat’s causing it
\nthey haven’t actually
\nbegun testing
\nto find out what’s wrong
\nbut I digress<\/p>\n
this morning I woke
\nto no food in the house again
\nso I had to go get something
\nearly
\ndue to being diabetic<\/p>\n
I cannot
\nfor the life of me
\nfind my damn keys
\nhouse and car<\/p>\n
frack!<\/p>\n
I’ve searched high and low
\nand can not find them
\nI’m thinking when I do
\nI’m going to have to put
\na beeper on them
\nand put the home end
\nof the beeper
\non my inside
\nfront door nob
\nso I can at least
\nhear them while I’m searching<\/p>\n
in other news<\/p>\n
I’ve had to start having
\ndrinking water
\ndelivered to my home
\ndue to the landlord
\nwatering the blueberry plants
\non this organic blueberry farm
\nI live on
\nand yesterday
\nI am awoken from a deep sleep
\nby Pixie going crazy
\ngrowling and barking
\nlike Armageddon is upon us
\nit was the guy
\ndelivering my first
\njugs of water<\/p>\n
I picked her up
\nand went to the door
\nand she growled at him
\nand barked
\nand snapped like crazy
\nI put her down
\nand she attacked his
\nwork boot
\nshe didn’t like the truck
\nand she surely didn’t
\nlike the driver<\/p>\n
I’ve heard from an old friend
\nshe’s moving up island
\nand I’m hoping we can reconnect
\nbefore she does<\/p>\n
she and her husband
\nwho was the reason
\nwe fell out in the first place
\nhave split up
\nand his behaviour has been
\nless than stellar
\ncruel actually
\nbut that doesn’t surprise me either
\nhe’s always worn his addictions
\nlike a mantel of semantics
\nto protect himself from naysayers
\nand I’m a naysayer
\nand knowing him
\nhe’ll find a way to blame me
\nfor them splitting up
\nin the first place…and I don’t care<\/p>\n
anyway
\nI’ve missed her
\nand I truly hope that this
\nnew beginning
\nbrings her great peace
\nand happiness
\nand maybe even someday
\nreal love
\nfrom someone that cherishes her
\nnot beats her down at every turn<\/p>\n
I’ve also been reminded today
\nthat I have 3 of these blogs
\nand I need to get my shit together
\nand do something with them<\/p>\n
