I know her partner
\nbut I never had
\nthe pleasure
\nof speaking to her
\nface to face<\/p>\n

on June 19th
\nshe died suddenly
\nin her soul mate’s arms<\/p>\n

tragic is not nearly
\na big enough word
\nto describe
\nthe lost of someone
\nwho has consciously struggled
\nto be the caliber
\nperson
\nshe had become<\/p>\n

I can’t make
\nthe memorial
\ntoday
\nso
\nI’ve spent hours
\npouring over
\nall the wonderful
\nheart felt comments
\nleft for her partner
\nand if nothing else
\nit’s once again
\nmade critically clear
\nto me
\nthe need
\nfor each and every one of us
\nto live in the now
\nto stop waiting for then
\nto be happy
\nto enjoy life
\nto do what we need to do
\nto make things better
\nfor ourselves
\nand those around us<\/p>\n
