surprisingly enough
\nlife continues to move along
\nat a speed
\nthat fascinates me<\/p>\n
remember when you were a child
\nand each year seemed eons long<\/p>\n
as a middle aged adult
\nI’m shocked at how quickly
\nthings move<\/p>\n
time has a way of slipping past us
\nand if we aren’t paying attention
\nwe’ll miss the whole show<\/p>\n
I have to put the thoughts
\nof this past weekend
\nand my daughter
\naway for now<\/p>\n
I have to get about the business
\nof finding a new job<\/p>\n
so for your entertainment today
\nI’m attaching someone else’s blog
\na story about my fairly recent past
\nwritten by a friend<\/p>\n
I may be back later
\nbut for now
\nthis will have to do for you<\/p>\n
because at times
\nof real stress
\nit doesn’t hurt
