Early this afternoon I have an appointment with a sort of reverse head hunter\u2026a person who helps people that are looking for new work hone their skills and connect with companies looking for suitable employees \u2013 I\u2019m both anticipating this meeting and a little scared of the task at hand\u2026<\/p>\n
I had a restless night and this morning I got up to discover that someone had used all the cream in my house (*ahem*) so I had to put my pants on and head to the grocery store.<\/p>\n
On my way back from the store some urge had me stop at a thrift store near my home\u2026.I don\u2019t often frequent thrift stores (I do like antique stores though) but for some reason I wandered in to one this morning.\u00a0 You will imagine my surprise at discovering one of my beloved Belle Fiore plates! A sandwich plate that I was able to purchase for $3.00 \u2013 by far the best deal I\u2019ve ever received when buying what is now considered an antique.<\/p>\n
I think it\u2019s a sign that there is room in my life for positive change\u2026and right now I\u2019m eating a soft boiled egg (in the egg cup that my Aunt Marigold sent me) with \u201clittle soldiers\u201d of toast all neatly arranged on my new (and freshly\/lovingly) washed plate and thinking of my family.<\/p>\n
