\n\"\"<\/a>2 years ago a bunch of my friends got together and bought me a TomTom GPS for my birthday
\nTheir reasoning being 2 fold
\nWhile I don\u2019t often get lost if I\u2019ve been somewhere before – I am definitely directionally challenged \u2013 so much so that I have to pause and think about left and right before I go left or right\u2026<\/p>\n

So I\u2019m not going to get lost going thru Vancouver anymore
\nAnd there\u2019s the added bonus of there being a speed feature on the GPS and my trike doesn\u2019t have a speedo<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve not been able to ride for over 2 years due to my health (something I hope gets rectified this summer) so I\u2019ve never actually used the GPS on my trike\u2026and as a result of not riding I\u2019ve not used the GPS in my car more than once or twice (I live on an island\u2026pretty hard to get lost here LoL)<\/p>\n

About 10 mths ago I was going to visit friends in Port Alberni and he suggested I bring my GPS so that he could show me how to sync it etc.\u00a0 I was surprised when I got to their house that the car charger wasn\u2019t in the bag with the rest of the stuff\u2026but it was ok at the time as the USB computer cord was there and we synced it and set it up and now I\u2019m all ready to travel\u2026.except for that car charger cord\u2026<\/p>\n

I came home from Port Alberni and began to search\u2026I looked everywhere (at least I thought I did) and finally threw in the towel and decided before I go away again I\u2019ll order one from TomTom (I couldn\u2019t for the life of me figure out where it was cos I have inherited the \u201cnever throw nothing out\u201d disease)<\/p>\n

Pixie has 2 toy boxes \u2013 one in front of the couch and one under the dining room table (which is in the corner in my living room that I never use \u2013 keep in mind this is a smaller apartment)\u2026mostly she has 2 toy boxes cos so many people have bought her tiny toys that she\u2019s got more toys than most stores\u2026.for the longest time she\u2019s not used the box under the table\u2026just hasn\u2019t shown interest.<\/p>\n

Today it was nice out\u2026so I had the patio doors open and Pixie was running back and forth, in and out.<\/p>\n

I have to keep an eye on her cos she\u2019ll often bring twigs and pine cones and other miscellaneous crud in to chew on and make a mess..and we have this little give and take over the subject all the time (that\u2019s where I talk like she understands, and she looks at me to make me think she understands\u2026and then just goes about her own damn business LoL) but as life will have it I got distracted by my computer\u2026<\/p>\n

I\u2019m sitting at my computer and out of the corner of my eye I see a wee movement under the dining room table\u2026I turned in time to see her arse end disappear\u2026so I get up and pull a chair out\u2026and there she is\u2026sitting in her box of toys and she\u2019s pushed a bunch of toys out of the box in an effort to bury something (Chihuahua\u2019s are notorious burying, saving for later kind of dogs \u2013 food, toys, everything)<\/p>\n

Her sitting in the box is odd in itself so I go under the table to see what she has that she is trying so cleverly to hide from me\u2026and sure enough there was a part of a old wet dirty pine cone in there.<\/p>\n

I start to mutter at her about the mess and dig thru the rest of the box to see what else the little magpie has\u2026low and behold there\u2019s a small ziplock bag with the car charger for my TomTom along with a scarf, a hat, one glove and a sock and a teaspoon (don\u2019t ask???).<\/p>\n
