I sent this to Louie in an email this morning
\nand thought I’d post it here too…<\/strong>

\nI’ll betcha money
\nthat people weren’t just being malicious last year…<\/p>\n

I think they just don’t think.<\/p>\n

no?<\/p>\n

I’m thinking
\nthat my days of believing
\nthat people will do
\nthe right thing
\nare gone…<\/p>\n

I have this understanding
\nthat I’m gonna have to
\ntake people by the hand
\nand show them wtf I want
\ngoing forward.<\/p>\n

last night
\nI got in the car at 12:30
\nand came back to Digger’s
\njust me and Pixie..<\/p>\n

the night was gorgeous…
\ncrisp and clear – frosty
\n…looking at all the stars was just so wonderful…<\/p>\n

there I was in complete silence
\njust me and the earth and the stars…<\/p>\n

I had a couple of moments
\nof real thankfulness
\nand clarity
\naround making it thru 2010
\nwith whats left of my sanity…
\nand the start of 2011…<\/p>\n

then my ears decided
\nthat they might fall off
\nfrom the cold
\nso I went into the trailer
\nand climbed between the sheets…
\nslept till 8:00AM!<\/p>\n

I don’t know why…
\nbut I’m quite hopeful at the moment<\/p>\n

2010 ended well for me
\nand 2011 feels
\nlike there may be something nice in store<\/p>\n

\nand I’m here by myself at the moment…
