as I gear up for another riding season<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
I am thinking a lot<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
about the amount of people <\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
that have passed through my life <\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
as of late<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
of the brothers and sisters of the road<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
no longer with us.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
does it seem to you <\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
that the age of weddings is past us<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
and the age of funerals is upon us?<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
I’m sad….<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
I think of Lucky and Muttly my SCRC brothers<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
I think of Shanana – good fighter, great laughter<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
I think of Red Dog<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
I think of Shooter<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
J<\/span><\/strong>ake, Terry, Fred, <\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
my buddy Billy<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
and the many many people<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
gone before them<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
and it reminds me<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
that no matter how crappy life seems<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
it’s life<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
let us<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
live it to the fullest<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
cos it will end<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
sometime<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
someday<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
it will end….<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
let us light a candle for those gone on ahead<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
let us remember to be safe<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
let us remember to enjoy<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
and please let us all<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
remember to stop <\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
and smell the roses!<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
