so last night<\/span>
on my way home from work<\/span>
I had to stop<\/span>
to pick up a carpet<\/span>
for the VOD<\/span>
she was having<\/span>
her living room area rug<\/span>
cleaned<\/span>
and they called to say it was ready<\/span>

I got there about 5:15pm<\/span>
and they close at 5:30<\/span>
so I was cutting it close<\/span>
and of course<\/span>
by 5:15pm at this time of year<\/span>
it’s dark outside<\/span><\/p>\n

I’m wearing 4 layers<\/span>
and one of my many wool hats<\/span>
cos hey! it cold and I’m bald<\/span><\/p>\n

the hat I’m wearing is fleece lined<\/span>
and has ear flaps and a pom pom<\/span><\/p>\n

so I walk into the carpet cleaning place<\/span>
and I walk up to the counter<\/span>
the clerk is standing<\/span>
with her back to me<\/span>
likely doing her day end deposit<\/span>
and I feel a twinge of guilt<\/span>
around the fact that I’m likey<\/span>
about to make her change it all<\/span><\/p>\n

she, with her back still to me<\/span>
says “I’ll be right with you”<\/span><\/p>\n

I says “take yer time…I’m just gonna<\/span>
stand here under this heat vent”<\/span><\/p>\n

she says” ya….it’s so cold this year<\/span>
I had to go out and buy one of them dweeb hats”<\/span><\/p>\n

I say “dweeb hats?”<\/span><\/p>\n

and she says “you know? the one’s with the<\/span>
ear flaps and the pom poms”<\/span><\/p>\n

and then she turns around<\/span><\/p>\n

LoL<\/span><\/p>\n

at least she had the good grace<\/span>
to blush<\/span><\/p>\n
