After Michael died<\/span>
I had this album on steady loop<\/span>
till I wore the grooves outta it<\/span>
and had to buy another one<\/span><\/p>\n

I was so sure that I was a waste<\/span>
and I’ve often thought<\/span>
that Paul Williams music <\/span>
and lyrics kept me alive<\/span><\/p>\n

I discovered it again recently <\/span>
on You Tube<\/span>
and here I am 30 odd years later<\/span>
I’m surprise to say
that I still remember every word<\/span><\/p>\n

I’m not listening to it often<\/span>
cos I find I get transported back<\/span>
to those same dark desperate feelings<\/span>
that I experienced <\/span>
just after Michael died<\/span><\/p>\n

still and all<\/span>
it is like finding an old friend<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
