is it AM or PM?<\/span><\/p>\n

it’s dark <\/span>
has been for 2 days<\/p>\n

<\/span> it’s dark when I go to sleep<\/span>
it’s dark when I wake up
it’s dark when my eyes are closed
and it’s dark when I open them<\/p>\n

<\/span> it’s warm<\/span>
and comfy
cocooned
<\/span> nested<\/span><\/p>\n

there’s something oddly <\/span>
womb like about spending<\/span>
a couple of days in bed<\/span>
when my eyes go south<\/span><\/p>\n

the very fact that I can think this<\/span>
makes me understand <\/span>
that I must be on the <\/span>
uphill climb to <\/span>
normalcy again<\/span>
or whatever it is that I call normal<\/span>
health wise<\/span><\/p>\n

2 days of feeling like I have glass in my eye<\/span>
compounded by the running of the nose<\/span>
my conviction that this fluid coming from my eyes<\/span>
must be blood<\/span>
the sinuses impacting<\/span>
and the resultant headache<\/span><\/p>\n

no light<\/span>
no tv<\/span>
no book<\/span>
no computer
I can’t bear the light
for more than seconds at a time
so it’s dark
<\/span>
2 days feels like forever<\/span>
and eventually starts to feel<\/span>
like<\/span>
always<\/span><\/p>\n

they must be getting better<\/span>
cos I’m not mad at them anymore<\/span>
