I’m too quiet <\/span>
it’s not cos I’m outta <\/span>
stuff to say…<\/span><\/p>\n

(HA! <\/span>fat chance that!)<\/span><\/p>\n

it’s cos I’m at the cousin’s house<\/span>
babysitting their dawg<\/span>
whilst they are in Vegas<\/span>
gallivanting and cavorting<\/span><\/p>\n

the saving grace is not the dawg<\/span>
it’s the ever so cool (temp wize) <\/span>
basement!<\/span><\/p>\n

it’s also cos
the puter I have access to <\/span>
is a very old laptop <\/span>
that belongs to a 10 yr old<\/span>
and crikey!<\/span>
it takes for freakin ever<\/span>
to load up a page<\/span><\/p>\n

and then there’s the dawg<\/span>
he’s reported to be 7<\/span>
but he’s a rescue<\/span>
and I think he’s more like <\/span>
12 or 13<\/span><\/p>\n

he doesn’t move so well<\/span>
but he loves to go on “break aways”<\/span>
and usually only does so when the phone rings<\/span>
or nature calls<\/span>
sneaky devil<\/span><\/p>\n

but the really weird thing<\/span>
about this ancient looking lab<\/span>
is that he calls “mama” <\/span>
to wake you up in the middle of the night<\/span>
if he wants\/needs to go out<\/span><\/p>\n

it’s down right freaky!<\/span><\/p>\n

Last night he woke me<\/span>
3 times between 11 and 6<\/span>
each time I woke to this weird noise <\/span>
from his throat that sounds like<\/span>
“mama”<\/span><\/p>\n

he wants to go out<\/span>
mostly to have a wizz<\/span>
but often whilst you are standing <\/span>
in the door way
pyjama clad
<\/span>half asleep<\/span>
and snoozily waiting<\/span>
he meanders off over “here” or “there”<\/span>
to just have a little doggie <\/span>
look see<\/span><\/p>\n

but the ever so cool<\/span>
basement <\/span>
