so yesterday I had to leave early <\/span>
to pick the VOD up at the local hosp<\/span>
where she was having tests done<\/span><\/p>\n

apparently she can get herself there<\/span>
but not home<\/span>
*sigh*<\/span><\/p>\n

so anyway<\/span>
I pull up in the little driveway<\/span>
but the front door of our wee community hosp<\/span>
and there’s 3 parking spots for picking people up<\/span>
the middle one is empty <\/span>
so I pull ahead to back in<\/span>
and before I can back in <\/span>
some guy pulls into the spot<\/span>
from behind me<\/span><\/p>\n

I mutter<\/span>
and drive across the road and park there<\/span>
I walk into the front lobby<\/span>
and the VOD is sitting there<\/span>
all ready to go<\/span>
so I suggest <\/span>
I’ll take a quick trip to the facilities<\/span>
and we’ll head home<\/span><\/p>\n

picture a small lobby<\/span>
with a few chairs<\/span>
all of which are occupied<\/span>
and across the other side is the <\/span>
unisex washroom<\/span>
I go in<\/span>
lock the door<\/span>
drop my strides<\/span>
and start my business<\/span><\/p>\n

about mid stream <\/span>
there comes this racket <\/span>
at the door<\/span>
someone trying to get in<\/span><\/p>\n

I think to myself<\/span>
“good thing I locked the door”<\/span>
the racket gets louder<\/span>
and louder again<\/span>
and all of a sudden <\/span>
the door bursts open<\/span>
and in strides<\/span>
the same fellow <\/span>
that copped my parking space<\/span>
he stands in the doorway <\/span>
with the door wide open<\/span>
showing me <\/span>
and my seated glory to every<\/span>
seated in the lobby<\/span><\/p>\n

I bark “hello – it’s occupied”<\/span>
and pray I don’t have to jump up<\/span><\/p>\n

he mutters and backs out<\/span>
I finish my business<\/span>
and wash my hands<\/span>
thinking: “well at least I know<\/span>
I’m still not too old to blush<\/span>
when caught with my pants<\/span>
down around my ankles”<\/span><\/p>\n

I come out of the restroom<\/span>
and the same fellow<\/span>
is standing outside the door<\/span>
and he starts to yell at me<\/span>
“you yelled at me – and it scared me!”<\/span><\/p>\n

to which I yelled back<\/span>
“ya…well you scared me, the door was locked<\/span>
and I had my pants down pissing!!”<\/span><\/p>\n

the VOD beetles out the door ahead of me….<\/span><\/p>\n

what is it about me<\/span>
and washrooms?<\/span><\/p>\n
