I write this blog for me<\/span>
I do not write it for the readers<\/span><\/p>\n

I teach myself lessons here<\/span>
and if you learn too<\/span>
that’s a double cash bingo<\/span><\/p>\n

but no body is forcing you to read<\/span>
so if you don’t like it<\/span>
go away<\/span>
it’s not really a loss to me<\/span>
see I started blogging here in 2005<\/span>
but I’ve been writing publicly <\/span>
and online for a lot longer…<\/span>
I’ve been telling stories bout <\/span>
my life and times online<\/span>
for more than 10 years now<\/span><\/p>\n

I’m not saying that I don’t appreciate <\/span>
the readers<\/span><\/p>\n

I do<\/span><\/p>\n

but I don’t write it for you<\/span>
I write it for me<\/span>
it’s not hard to admit <\/span>
this particular selfishness<\/span>
cos I know it’s value to me<\/span><\/p>\n

see….I don’t have a partner<\/span>
and I do my best thinking out loud<\/span>
so I blog and I often copy these posts to FaceBook<\/span>
cos I like to over share (ha…that’s a joke see?)<\/span><\/p>\n

and cos over the years I’ve learned <\/span>
that if I don’t have some venue<\/span>
to do that over sharing <\/span>
things get messed up for me…<\/span><\/p>\n

in the old days<\/span>
they got really messed up<\/span>
and violence occurred<\/span>
so now<\/span>
I write it to say what I wanna say<\/span>
I write it to say what I need to say<\/span>
to someone <\/span>
anyone<\/span>
to me<\/span>
but for me…<\/span>
I write it to get my head to shut up<\/span>
or to get something worked out<\/span>
I write so I don’t have to increase my meds<\/span>
seriously<\/span><\/p>\n

and also for clarity’s sake<\/span><\/p>\n

when I say “I”<\/span>
I mean just that<\/span>
me<\/span>
not you<\/span>
not we<\/span>
me<\/span>
that’s common <\/span>
basic <\/span>
english<\/span>
and if you read something else into it<\/span>
I can’t be held accountable for that<\/span><\/p>\n

people like to argue about blogs being<\/span>
on public internet so they are public domain<\/span>
and I frankly don’t care that they are<\/span><\/p>\n

because for me….<\/span>
these are my thoughts<\/span>
and when the shit hits the fan in my life<\/span>
I need to find a way to vent<\/span><\/p>\n

sometimes I’m lucky and when I vent<\/span>
it comes out funny<\/span>
and you all find it amuzing<\/span>
but often as not<\/span>
my blog posts are rambling lessons <\/span>
to myself<\/span>
and if you read it and learn something too<\/span>
how can that be wrong?<\/span><\/p>\n

today I found out<\/span>
that people think that I don’t ever think I’m wrong<\/span><\/p>\n

that’s just fucking laughable<\/span>
if I hadn’t spent the last couple of hours<\/span>
crying about it<\/span>
it would be truly hilarious…<\/span><\/p>\n

that just goes to show you <\/span>
how little they know me<\/span><\/p>\n

I can only surmise that <\/span>
they see me as they want to<\/span>
and don’t bother to really get to know the real me<\/span>
they really don’t care enough<\/span>
to get to know me<\/span>
cos I know I’m wrong lots<\/span><\/p>\n

(and for clarity’s sake – this ain’t about my<\/span>
posts of the past week – I still think\/feel the same way<\/span>
and I don’t care whether ya’ll agree)<\/span><\/p>\n

so while I don’t say to you “on the subject of XYZ<\/span>
YOU were right and I was wrong”<\/span><\/p>\n

I very often walk away with a learning<\/span>
and I’m all good with that<\/span><\/p>\n

but sadly<\/span>
I now understand that people don’t see it that way<\/span>
and what they see me as <\/span>
is arrogant<\/span><\/p>\n

I am arrogant<\/span>
but I’m not stupid<\/span><\/p>\n

arrogance is just part of all of the parts of me<\/span>
and if you can’t separate that<\/span>
or don’t believe that the combination <\/span>
of all the parts of me outweigh the arrogance<\/span>
then you are just as shallow <\/span>
as you think me to be<\/span><\/p>\n

truth is<\/span>
people will see what they want to see<\/span>
and say what they want to say<\/span>
I can’t worry about that<\/span>
I have too much to worry about<\/span>
to keep myself <\/span>
on the straight and narrow<\/span><\/p>\n

in the old days I met hurt with violence<\/span>
I will not go back<\/span><\/p>\n

no matter how much I hurt<\/span>
I will not go back<\/span><\/p>\n

I’ve been shit on by bigger and better “men”<\/span>
