One of the ailments<\/span><\/strong>
I suffer from<\/span><\/strong>
is PTSD<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
as a result<\/span><\/strong>
I don’t sleep <\/span><\/strong>
unless medicated<\/span><\/strong>
and sometimes<\/span><\/strong>
with the onset of stress<\/span><\/strong>
even meds don’t help<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
last night was one of those nights…<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
if you don’t sleep<\/span><\/strong>
you don’t heal<\/span><\/strong>
and then all your other<\/span><\/strong>
ailments<\/span><\/strong>
take control of your life<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
in the end <\/span><\/strong>
the lack of sleep <\/span><\/strong>
is always what triggers <\/span><\/strong>
the greater darkness<\/span><\/strong>
in my life.<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
I make decisions <\/span><\/strong>
when I have been sleepless<\/span><\/strong>
that I suffer for<\/span><\/strong>
in the long run<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
I’m not about to go there this time<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
more and more<\/span><\/strong>
every day<\/span><\/strong>
I come to understand<\/span><\/strong>
that my perceptions<\/span><\/strong>
of the failings of the people <\/span><\/strong>
around me<\/span><\/strong>
are not just simply my perceptions of<\/span><\/strong>
the failings of the people around me<\/span><\/strong>
but part of a bigger picture <\/span><\/strong>
one of manipulation<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
there are people who strive to manipulate<\/span><\/strong>
and force others into <\/span><\/strong>
following a specific pattern of beliefs<\/span><\/strong>
they operate from a position of selfishness<\/span><\/strong>
and are desperate to control<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
they do not operate <\/span><\/strong>
from a position of <\/span><\/strong>
love<\/span><\/strong>
consideration<\/span><\/strong>
integrity<\/span><\/strong>
morals<\/span><\/strong>
or <\/span><\/strong>
friendship<\/span><\/strong>
this lesson I have learned<\/span><\/strong>
time and again <\/span><\/strong>
in my life<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
this time…<\/span><\/strong>
I’ll heed the heart voice<\/span><\/strong>
that says…<\/span><\/strong>I will no longer allow<\/span><\/strong>
master manipulators<\/span><\/strong>
access to my life<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
and just so we are clear<\/strong><\/span>
I have no intention of
askin others to follow
me
I never have<\/strong><\/span>
<\/span><\/strong>
so if that means<\/span><\/strong>
leaving you all<\/span><\/strong>
then I will<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
I will not go back<\/span><\/strong>
to what once was<\/span><\/strong>
I am not afraid to be alone<\/span><\/strong>
nor am I afraid to start over<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
but I am afraid <\/span><\/strong>
of going back<\/span><\/strong>
to that <\/span><\/strong>
malice and evil <\/span><\/strong>
