and it’s only Tuesday!<\/span><\/p>\n

first off<\/span>
on my way to work yesterday<\/span>
my trike broke down<\/p>\n

<\/span>I stood on the side of the road<\/span>
and watched people drive by me <\/span>
(some that I even knew….)<\/span>
for an hour <\/span>
while waitin for a tow truck<\/p>\n

<\/span>got towed to a shop<\/span>
called a good friend <\/span>
before 8AM <\/span>
and he came <\/span>
and picked <\/span>me up
and drove me to work<\/span>
and then picked me up and <\/span>
drove me back to the garage <\/span>
to pick up my trike at the end of the day<\/span><\/p>\n

not exactly a Herculean feat<\/span>
but the 3 locations are diametrically<\/span>
opposite to each other in a triangle <\/span>
through this city<\/span>
and gas is currently $152.9 a litre<\/span><\/p>\n

so the trike cost me $95.17 to repair<\/span>
not huge<\/span>
but I’m on a budget ok?<\/span><\/p>\n

there goes my plans <\/span>
to purchase a new sleeping bag<\/span>
for the summer holidays….<\/span><\/p>\n

I had the day off today<\/span>
and went to all of my Dr’s<\/span>
the good news <\/span>
is that I’m in good shape
for a fat broad…<\/p>\n

<\/span>there’ll be no need for the surgery<\/span>
blood pressure is down<\/span>
chest is still a little “reedy”<\/span><\/p>\n

the bad news…<\/span>
eyes are substantially worse<\/span>
over last year<\/span>
due to the type of meds <\/span>
being pumped through me
for the crohn’s<\/span><\/p>\n

so I need new glasses<\/span>
the only frames I can find<\/span>
that fit my needs <\/span>
(get this…I have special needs<\/span>
in the spectacle department)<\/span>
are $298.00<\/p>\n

<\/span> the progressive prescription <\/span>
is another $300.00<\/p>\n

<\/span>I’ll get $200.00 back from my <\/span>
med plan<\/span><\/p>\n

apparently we’ll take that outta petty cash?<\/span><\/p>\n

then I got renewals on <\/span>
all 6 of my meds<\/p>\n

<\/span>so I took em to the pharmacy<\/span>
the pharmacy is current
“in discussion”<\/span>
with their Internet service provider<\/span>

as a result<\/span>
I can’t use my debit card or my credit card<\/span>
I have to go get cash<\/span>
and then due to some cluster fuck<\/span>
with my medical plan<\/span>
the meds cost me exactly $648.84<\/span><\/p>\n

I’ll get all but $128.97 <\/span>
back from the med plan<\/span>
but it takes time….<\/span><\/p>\n

and then….
for the holidays….<\/p>\n

<\/span>I have 2 tents<\/span>
a really really big one <\/span>
and a really really small one<\/span><\/p>\n

the small one won’t hold a mattress<\/span>
let alone me<\/span>
but fits on my trike<\/span><\/p>\n

the big one takes <\/span>upwards
of half a dozen <\/span>people<\/span>
to erect
and prolly sleeps 10<\/span>
but I can’t haul it on my trike
it’s like hauling the titanic
<\/span>
I was going to borrow a tent from a friend<\/span>
for my holiday<\/span>
only she’s just informed me today<\/span>
that it’s not usable<\/span><\/p>\n

so I was looking at spending $70.00<\/span>
and pickin up a dome tent
at “Crappy Tire”
but now with the glasses
and the scripts<\/p>\n

not so much
<\/span>
oh ya<\/span>
did I mention that my trike insurance<\/span>
is up for renewal next week?<\/span><\/p>\n

ya <\/span>
no<\/span>
if the rest of the week is like this<\/span>
the holiday is off<\/span>
I’ll be the big bald boob<\/span>
sittin on the living room floor<\/span>
suckin my thumb <\/span>
and playin <\/span>
