I had dinner with some friends last night<\/span><\/strong>
yes<\/span><\/strong>
you know who you are<\/span><\/strong>

they gave me a bit of a lecture<\/span><\/strong>
about how it’s been almost a week<\/span><\/strong>
since I’ve posted in here….<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
today would be a day to catch up<\/span><\/strong>
as Hysteria is working from home<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
so…first<\/span><\/strong>
the guy that smashed my truck<\/span><\/strong>
seems to be unemployed<\/span><\/strong>
so I guess I can kiss the rest of the money <\/span><\/strong>
he owes me <\/span><\/strong>
goodbye<\/span><\/strong>
in a valiant attempt <\/span><\/strong>
to make my cup half full<\/span><\/strong>
at least I got some of it<\/span><\/strong>
cos I almost didn’t<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
I didn’t post in here<\/span><\/strong>
that I’d purchased a new car<\/span><\/strong>
during my week off<\/span><\/strong>
I bought a 2008 Yaris<\/span><\/strong>
during that week I was off<\/span><\/strong>
and it’s a little Ladybug…<\/span><\/strong>
but the “new car smell” is killing me<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
during the week off<\/span><\/strong>
I had quite the convo with the bother<\/span><\/strong>
about how I just can’t live next door<\/span><\/strong>
to the VOD and wait for her to die<\/span><\/strong>
I just can not do it<\/span><\/strong>
as a result <\/span><\/strong>
he’s had a talk with her<\/span><\/strong>
and she is starting to respect <\/span><\/strong>
some of the boundaries I’ve been <\/span><\/strong>
trying to establish <\/span><\/strong>
over the last 10 years<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
which, of course<\/span><\/strong>
begs the question<\/span><\/strong>
why does she listen to the bother<\/span><\/strong>
and not me?<\/span><\/strong>
but hell<\/span><\/strong>
beggars can’t be choosers<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
and truly<\/span><\/strong>
I had no idea <\/span><\/strong>
how much my feelings <\/span><\/strong>
of being trapped <\/span><\/strong>
was locked into<\/span><\/strong>
my feelings of obligation<\/span><\/strong>
because of her car<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
and altho many of you<\/span><\/strong>
told me so<\/span><\/strong>
the purchase of the car<\/span><\/strong>
has been freeing on a level<\/span><\/strong>
I surely didn’t expect<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
funnily enough<\/span><\/strong>
it’s been freeing<\/span><\/strong>
on a financial level<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
my first large purchase<\/span><\/strong>
since circumstances <\/span><\/strong>
beyond my control<\/span><\/strong>
aka that dirtbag Danny<\/span><\/strong>
forced me into bankruptcy<\/span><\/strong>
and shame<\/span><\/strong>
10 years ago<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
so…maybe it’s the sunshine<\/span><\/strong>
and maybe it’s that at almost 53<\/span><\/strong>
I’ve taken another small step<\/span><\/strong>
towards being an adult<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
I feel better.<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span>
oh<\/span>
and Bear?<\/span>
it’s isn’t a fucking tumor brother<\/span>
it’s sciatica<\/span>
so SNAP OUTTA IT!<\/strong><\/span>
