when ya don’t learn something”<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
remember that old adage?<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
so here’s what I’ve learned recently….<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
ya get what you pay for…<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

seems like a pretty simple lesson<\/strong><\/span>
but sometimes <\/strong><\/span>
I’m a little on the thick side<\/strong><\/span>
and have to be force fed<\/strong><\/span>
a lesson….<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
so<\/strong><\/span>
if ya go cheap and buy a blender <\/strong><\/span>
that has a plastic bottle<\/strong><\/span>
and ya live next door <\/strong><\/span>
to the VOD<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
who is completely enamored<\/strong><\/span>
with the dry cycle on the dishwasher<\/strong><\/span>
the bottle can melt<\/strong><\/span>
and change shape<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
and say ya take that plastic bottle<\/strong><\/span>
outta the dishwasher<\/strong><\/span>
and put a cup of juice<\/strong><\/span>
a banana<\/strong><\/span>
a cup of frozen berries<\/strong><\/span>
a cup of yogurt<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
into the plastic bottle<\/strong><\/span>
slap on the lid<\/strong><\/span>
hit the high button<\/strong><\/span>
and walk away<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
you get fruit smoothie<\/strong><\/span>
all over the fucking kitchen!<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
I’m talkin…alllllllllllllllll over<\/strong><\/span>
under the cupboards<\/strong><\/span>
on the cupboard doors<\/strong><\/span>
on the stove<\/strong><\/span>
on the fridge<\/strong><\/span>
even on the damn ceiling!<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
and <\/strong><\/span>
if you know that you’ll be <\/strong><\/span>
late for work if you stay home <\/strong><\/span>
to clean up the mess<\/strong><\/span>
you leave it and hope for the best<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
so when you’re talkin to the VOD<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
that morning<\/strong><\/span>
and she suggests <\/strong><\/span>
that she’ll go over <\/strong><\/span>
and clean it up for you<\/strong><\/span>
but she forgets<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
you get home <\/strong><\/span>
to fruit smoothie<\/strong><\/span>
cement<\/strong><\/span>
everywhere….<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
it took a knife<\/strong><\/span>
a spatula<\/strong><\/span>
and a gallon er 9<\/strong><\/span>
of hot water<\/strong><\/span>
to clean that mess up<\/strong><\/span>
and I found the lid<\/strong><\/span>
to said cheap blender<\/strong><\/span>
on top of one of the upper cupboards<\/strong><\/span>
next to the teapot collection<\/strong><\/span>
(that, I might add…needed <\/strong><\/span>
to be cleaned anyway!)<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
yup<\/strong><\/span>
