<\/span><\/strong>
me?<\/span><\/strong>
I’m an asshole attractor<\/span><\/strong>
I’m an asshole magnet<\/span><\/strong>
I can’t help it<\/span><\/strong>
it’s true<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
case in point some of the more poignant posts<\/span><\/strong>
in this very blog<\/span><\/strong>
about the caliber of idjits<\/span><\/strong>
I run into in my day to day life<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
remember the drunk guy in the pub<\/span><\/strong>
that tried to pick a fight <\/span><\/strong>
and pour beer on the VOD on the 4th of July?<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
last night I went to dinner in the same pub with friends<\/span><\/strong>
guess who was sitting at the next table<\/span><\/strong>
gunning me off <\/span><\/strong>
all the way thru dinner?<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
the very person whom I had been assured<\/span><\/strong>
was barred for life for calling my mother<\/span><\/strong>
the “c” word thereby almost getting me <\/span><\/strong>
thrown in jail….<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
I did my best to studiously ignore said duffus<\/span><\/strong>
but he was sitting at the table next to us<\/span><\/strong>
and facing me <\/span><\/strong>
so every time I looked across the table<\/span><\/strong>
at the man of the couple I was with<\/span><\/strong>
for dinner<\/span><\/strong>
I found the putz glaring at me<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
I rose above<\/span><\/strong>
ate my meal <\/span><\/strong>
and left the pub<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
as I was pulling out of the parking spot <\/span><\/strong>
I look in the rear view mirror <\/span><\/strong>
to spy the prick in question<\/span><\/strong>
standing behind the VODmobile<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
I wait to see what he’s doing<\/span><\/strong>
he’s just standing<\/span><\/strong>
with his back to my trunk<\/span><\/strong>
smoking a cigarette<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
to my mind<\/span><\/strong>
I have 2 choices<\/span><\/strong>
I can wait for him to finish <\/span><\/strong>
and then get out of the parking spot<\/span><\/strong>
or I can lay on the horn and run him over<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
me…I wait for about half a smoke<\/span><\/strong>
and then I go for plan B<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I get outta my car and say<\/span><\/strong>
“excuse me….I’m trying to leave”<\/span><\/strong>
to which<\/span><\/strong>
the man of the hour answers<\/span><\/strong>
“fuck you c**t”<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
I’m gobsmaked for all of about 10 seconds<\/span><\/strong>
and then I holler back….<\/span><\/strong>
“I don’t know what your fucking problem is<\/span><\/strong>
but feel free to just stand there…I’ll just run you over”<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
and in my heart of hearts<\/span><\/strong>
I knew it to be true<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
I got in the car and gunned the motor<\/span><\/strong>
he moved <\/span><\/strong>
and I left<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
what is it about this face<\/span><\/strong>
that attracts such idiocy?<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span><\/strong>
what could I possibly done <\/span><\/strong>
in a past life<\/span><\/strong>
to cause such shards in the veneer <\/span><\/strong>
of my life….<\/span><\/strong>
to warrant such continuous proof<\/span><\/strong>
that I’m an asshole attractor
I’m the best asshole magnet<\/span><\/strong>
