did ya ever notice<\/strong><\/span>
how when you’ve spent <\/strong><\/span>
a couple of months<\/strong><\/span>
beatin feet <\/strong><\/span>
to make sure everything <\/strong><\/span>
gets done<\/strong><\/span>
and then you finally get thru <\/strong><\/span>
to the other side<\/strong><\/span>
it’s a let down?<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
so I’ve spent the better part of <\/strong><\/span>
a month n some<\/strong><\/span>
working hellish hours<\/strong><\/span>
due to the transition <\/strong><\/span>
in our office<\/strong><\/span>
so much so that the last count<\/strong><\/span>
was 2 weeks “lieu” time<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
the boss<\/strong><\/span>
in her infinite wisdom<\/strong><\/span>
has decided <\/strong><\/span>
that we’ll just keep this<\/strong><\/span>
between us<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
which begs some questions:<\/strong><\/span>
1. in this country…overtime is <\/strong><\/span>
time and a half…<\/strong><\/span>
do you suppose she’ll honor that?<\/strong><\/span>
not likely<\/strong><\/span>
2. in this country the employee<\/strong><\/span>
gets to chose if the want their<\/strong><\/span>
OT in lieu time or $…<\/strong><\/span>
do you suppose she’ll let me choose?<\/strong><\/span>
3. how the hell is she ever gonna <\/strong><\/span>
make a serious argument <\/strong><\/span>
for us needing another body<\/strong><\/span>
in our office if she doesn’t <\/strong><\/span>
officially track our OT?<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
hmmmmmmmm?<\/strong><\/span>
I’m tired of fighting <\/strong><\/span>
for my basic rights <\/strong><\/span>
with this woman<\/strong><\/span>
I shouldn’t have to<\/strong><\/span>
and if I go to ER<\/strong><\/span>
she uses that as a bullet too<\/strong><\/span>
accusing me of not being a “team player”<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
yesterday she suggested that I’m <\/strong><\/span>
an adrenaline junkie….<\/strong><\/span>
uhhhhhhm<\/strong><\/span>
