uhhhmmm…..<\/strong><\/span>

so yesterday was my 52nd b’day<\/strong><\/span>
no big deal really…<\/strong><\/span>
after the last few fiasco’s I’ve learned to expect nothing <\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
and it was complicated by the fact that my Blister<\/strong><\/span>
who hasn’t talked to me in close to a year <\/strong><\/span>
was also arriving from ON<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
so…I get up in the morning to emails from all my <\/strong><\/span>
bloggin, facebook, myspace and msn and club friends<\/strong><\/span>
but nothing from family<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
spoke to my own personal VOD <\/strong><\/span>
3 times before we had to get to the airport for noon<\/strong><\/span>
no “best wishes”<\/strong><\/span>
get to the airport and the fadder and a cuz show up<\/strong><\/span>
no “best wishes”<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
the Blister walks offa the plane<\/strong><\/span>
walks directly up to me and gives me a huge hug<\/strong><\/span>
and wishes me happy b’day<\/strong><\/span>
which of course<\/strong><\/span>
immediately starts the rest of the family to bluster<\/strong><\/span>
and concur<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
what is up with this self centered bunch o putz’s?<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
last night the Blister took myself…the VOD<\/strong><\/span>
the fadder and the cuz out for dinner<\/strong><\/span>
I had a couple of drinks<\/strong><\/span>
a great steak n lobster dinner<\/strong><\/span><\/a>
and a little chocolate to finish things off<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
not a bad way to celebrate….<\/strong><\/span>
(and way better n the wire dish rack <\/strong><\/span>
I got for my 50th)<\/strong><\/span>
I’m still stressing about the Blister <\/strong><\/span>
being here <\/strong><\/span>
but so far so good<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
on another front<\/strong><\/span>
I am hugely stressing about my right arm<\/strong><\/span>
I’ve got a combination of <\/strong><\/span>
carpel tunnel and tennis elbow<\/strong><\/span>
due to the fact that I’ve just done 3 months of work<\/strong><\/span>
in little over 14 days (cos the boss just cannot focus until it’s almost too late)<\/strong><\/span>
it is sore from my finger tips to my shoulder<\/strong><\/span>
and sore enough to make me vomit<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
the Dr says…”don’t use it”<\/strong><\/span>
so what am I supposed to do at work?<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
how can I blog? (slowly and painfully apparently)<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
but the real kicker is that <\/strong><\/span>
I’m leaving on a 2 week motorcycling holiday<\/strong><\/span>
on Thursday the 2nd<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
what do you suppose the chances are <\/strong><\/span>
that I’ll stay home if the arm hurts too badly?<\/strong><\/span>
2 chances…slim and fat….<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
but what kinda holiday am I gonna have<\/strong><\/span>
if the act of twisting the throttle <\/strong><\/span>
makes me wanna puke?<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
jeez eh?<\/strong><\/span>
can’t I just have one thing go right?<\/strong><\/span>
