I wish I could feel a little more enthusiastic<\/strong><\/span>
about life right now<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
but I’m burnt toast…<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
my boss<\/strong><\/span>
who ascribes to the “never do today <\/strong><\/span>
what you can possibly put off <\/strong><\/span>
for ever” <\/strong><\/span>
train of thought<\/strong><\/span>
finally had to get her hiney in gear<\/strong><\/span>
and get crackin<\/strong><\/span>
as a result<\/strong><\/span>
we are working 12 hour days<\/strong><\/span>
trying to get 3 months worth of planning <\/strong><\/span>
for next year<\/strong><\/span>
done by the time I leave on holidays<\/strong><\/span>
on the 2nd<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
I am truly burnt toast<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
the blister arrives on Sat<\/strong><\/span>
I still haven’t mucked out the pig pen<\/strong><\/span>
the holidays start on the 2nd<\/strong><\/span>
and frankly <\/strong><\/span>
what I really rather do<\/strong><\/span>
is just sleep<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
that can’t be bad….can it?<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
on a good note<\/strong><\/span>
the VOD got all growed up<\/strong><\/span>
as a result of a couple of sessions of holy holy<\/strong><\/span>
with myself <\/strong><\/span>
and the bother via phone<\/strong><\/span>
so she’s fixed her pension issues<\/strong><\/span>
gone to the dentist<\/strong><\/span>
gone to the hairdresser <\/strong><\/span>
(to get a shorter version of Zippy the Clown, I assume)<\/strong><\/span>
and made an appointment with a dental surgeon<\/strong><\/span>
to take care of the rest of the mess<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
she’s even going to go to the dental surgeon<\/strong><\/span>
while the blister is here…..<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
she says that she understands that <\/strong><\/span>
I get frustrated with her treating <\/strong><\/span>
the bother and the blister like <\/strong><\/span>
landed gentry when they arrive<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
and she says<\/strong><\/span>
she’s going to start eating properly <\/strong><\/span>
and taking her medication<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
I can’t see that happening while<\/strong><\/span>
the blister is here….but who knows?<\/strong><\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>
in the mean time<\/strong><\/span>
I still wish I could drum up <\/strong><\/span>
a little enthusiasm<\/strong><\/span>
for my pending holidays….<\/strong><\/span>
