Is soon to take his crown to reign<\/strong><\/span>
A fond goodbye to the oaken king<\/strong><\/span>
Surrendering his light domain <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

With forest sprites and elves commune<\/strong><\/span>
Best offer them sweetened treat<\/strong><\/span>
Then dance delighted beneath the moon<\/strong><\/span>
And frolic in summer\u2019s heat <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The sun babe grows in Mother\u2019s womb<\/strong><\/span>
Awaiting birth as turns the wheel<\/strong><\/span>
Enjoy us all the fauna\u2019s bloom<\/strong><\/span>
And revel in childhood zeal <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The land be blessed with glorious fruit<\/strong><\/span>
To feed and nourish summer souls<\/strong><\/span>
With food of spiritual pursuit<\/strong><\/span>
The Gods our gratitude extol <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

While golden glowing rays of sun<\/strong><\/span>
And breezes warm seek to soothe <\/strong><\/span>
Through lushest fields of grasses run<\/strong><\/span>
All dim disquietude remove <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Bask in days while light is long<\/strong><\/span>
And leisure lingers unsurpassed<\/strong><\/span>
Sing with glee a bacchanal song<\/strong><\/span>
A forward glance to Harvest cast<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Our Goddess now we shall embrace<\/strong><\/span>
Endeavor turn wrong to right<\/strong><\/span>
God of Holly slips into Oak God\u2019s place<\/strong><\/span>
On this, our summer solstice night<\/strong><\/span>
