did ya ever wonder<\/span>
about what it is<\/span>
that makes you loveable?<\/span>
<\/span>
and transversely<\/span>
unloveable?<\/span>
<\/span>
one would think that a single woman<\/span>
of my age and stature<\/span>
would<\/span>
<\/span>
funnily enough I don’t often<\/span>
<\/span>
but there are times….<\/span>
<\/span>
tonight I watched the movie<\/span>
“I walk the line”<\/span>
the Johnny Cash – June Carter love story<\/span>
<\/span>
I don’t normally go “in” for the love stories<\/span>
and I’ve never been a real Carter and Cash fan<\/span>
<\/span>
I was suprised to find out that I knew the words <\/span>
to most of the songs in the sound track<\/span>
<\/span>
I was surprised to see what a junkie he was<\/span>
and how he travelled the road to hell and back<\/span>
<\/span>
I guess I must have known about it<\/span>
but I don’t cognizantly remember it<\/span>
and in the end – I was surprised at the level <\/span>
of “love story” it was<\/span><\/p>\n

Johnny fell in love with June <\/span>
likely before they even met<\/span>
and spent his whole life prior to actually marrying her<\/span>
in love and desperate to be with her<\/span>
<\/span>
in spite of both of their previous marriages <\/span>
and his addiction<\/span>
when they married <\/span>
they stayed committed to each other<\/span>
<\/span>
they were married for 35 years<\/span>
June Carter died in May of 2003 <\/span>
and Johnny died 4 mths later<\/span>
almost like he didn’t care to live without her<\/span>
<\/span>
it made me wonder what it was<\/span>
that made them love each other <\/span>
thru thick and thin<\/span>
all their lives<\/span>
<\/span>
was it chemistry?<\/span>
was it genetic?<\/span>
was it esoteric?<\/span>
was it spiritual?<\/span>
was it mystical?<\/span>
compatability?<\/span>
camaraderie?<\/span>
adulation?<\/span>
tenderness?<\/span>
hot monkey sex?<\/span>
<\/span>
what?<\/span>
what key ingredient was it<\/span>
that made it “necessary” to each of them <\/span>
to make them love each other?<\/span>
<\/span>
what key ingredient was it<\/span>
that made it “necessary” for them<\/span>
to be with each other?<\/span>
<\/span>
what was it that they had about them<\/span>
that I apparenlty don’t have?<\/span>
<\/span>
sometimes I wonder <\/span>
