I’m bracing myself<\/span>
I leave this morning to drive up to my brother’s house<\/span>
he (aka “the golden boy”) has to work boxing day <\/span>
so that means that the VOD needs to be there<\/span>
cos ever the martyr <\/span>
she will need to be there
“just in case he needs something”<\/span>
<\/span>
he’s affected<\/span>
he calls his kids “the children”<\/span>
and while he has a good heart<\/span>
he’s like the rest of the family<\/span>
suffering from the “road to hell is paved with good intentions”<\/span>
<\/span>
the VOD is also in a flap <\/span>
cos the blister (my virtually non-existant sister)<\/span>
is alone this season<\/span>
but she’s alone cos she wants to be<\/span>
after all – there’s almost 100 members of our family<\/span>
in that city she lives it<\/span>
altho there is every possiblity that they’ve quit inviting her<\/span>
cos she’s following in her mother’s footsteps<\/span>
ever the martyr<\/span>
<\/span>
and I will be <\/span>
reading library books<\/span>
and playing monopoly with the kids (16 & 14)<\/span>
and hoping that I don’t have to spend too much time<\/span>
with the drunks <\/span>
er<\/span>
I mean family<\/span>
<\/span>
jaded?<\/span>
who me?<\/span>
<\/span>
still<\/span>
beyond all that <\/span>
<\/span>
I pray for Peace<\/span>
and Health <\/span>
and Comfort and Joy<\/span>
in the lives of my loved ones<\/span>
<\/span>
