here we are<\/span>
in the PNW<\/span>
up to our eyeballs in <\/span>
white out conditions<\/span>
<\/span>
people on this island <\/span>
just don’t know how to drive in this stuff<\/span>
they just really freak out<\/span>
what a hoot!<\/span>
<\/span>
I went for coffee with my riding club this morning <\/span>
the 20 min trip home took well over an hour<\/span>
and people are just getting outta there cars<\/span>
and leaving them in the middle of the road <\/span>
and walking away<\/span>
<\/span>
I swear I didn’t get above 30 kms alla way home<\/span>
in the “old lady mobile”<\/span>
<\/span>
One thing about driving an old car<\/span>
is that it’s built like a tank<\/span>
and heavy enough to not need sandbags<\/span>
hehehehe<\/span>
<\/span>
I’m comin up the highway on my way home<\/span>
and there’s a lady in a brand new Infinity<\/span>
sitting broadside on the road <\/span>
over both North bound lanes <\/span>
<\/span>
the lady was standing beside the car weeping <\/span>
cos she couldn’t get it straightened out on the road<\/span>
I put on my 4 ways and got out <\/span>
told her to try straightening out her wheels <\/span>
and turning slowly<\/span>
she was having any of that and just<\/span>
continued to wail like it was armagedon<\/span>
so I turned it for her….<\/span>
people like that give women drivers a bad name!<\/span>
<\/span>
I get to the bottom of the hill for the turn off to my burb<\/span>
and there’s bumper to bumper cars on the highway<\/span>
standing still<\/span>
like parked<\/span>
<\/span>
so I drove around the long way <\/span>
thereby missing the big hill<\/span>
but here I am on my way along the street I live on<\/span>
and here comes a guy<\/span>
walking his dog<\/span>
in shorts<\/span>
a tshirt<\/span>
and flip flops<\/span>
<\/span>
