there’s friends<\/span>
and ya can choose yer friends<\/span>
but ya can’t choose yer family<\/span>

for me – my friends have become my family<\/span><\/p>\n

case in point<\/span>
one of my friends called me tonight<\/span><\/p>\n

I left my trike with him on Sunday<\/span>
cos I’ve got motor troubles<\/span>
and he’s going to get them fixed for me<\/span><\/p>\n

not cos he has to <\/span>
but cos he wants me to be safe <\/span>
and I can’t afford to get it done myself<\/span>
<\/span>
tonight he calls to say that he’s decided to<\/span>
have the seats redone<\/span>
the roll bar powdercoated<\/span>
and all the lights fixed<\/span>
<\/span>
in my minds eye<\/span>
I keep hearing <\/span>
Wayne and Garth <\/span>
from the movie Wayne’s World<\/span>
“we are not worthy”<\/span>
<\/span>
I truly feel that I am not worthy<\/span>
and it both puzzles me <\/span>
and warms my heart<\/span>
that I have friends that are willing to do <\/span>
something this intense for me<\/span>
<\/span>
they say that karma will out in the end<\/span>
I musta been a really nice person in a last life eh?<\/span>
