ya know<\/span>
every once in a while <\/span>
ya get so caught up <\/span>
in the ups and downs of yer own life<\/span>
that you forget that other people have lives too<\/span>
<\/span>
I’ve been kinda pouty about not being healthy enough <\/span>
to go out and get a real job<\/span>
cos I want to make enough money to get my ride fixed up <\/span>
safely and aesthetically<\/span><\/p>\n

and I want a travel trailer<\/span>
so I don’t have to sleep on the ground no more<\/span>
but I <\/span>need to stay where I am cos of the health benefits<\/span>
and how where I am is ok<\/span>
but I ain’t gettin rich<\/span>
waaa waaa waaa<\/span>
<\/span>
last week after a particularly despicable day<\/span>
I was talking with a friend<\/span>
ostensibly to whine<\/span>
however<\/span>
she looks shell shocked<\/span>
she tells me that she’s just had an employee in her office<\/span>
the woman needs to take some time off<\/span>
this poor woman lost a child in a car accident a little over a year ago<\/span>
then she got pregnant with twins <\/span>
and lost them a month or so ago<\/span>
as a result her husband (whom shall now and forever be known as “the asshole”)<\/span>
left her cos he believes she “killed” his kids<\/span>
and now her mother – who is her sole support network<\/span>
has been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor<\/span>
<\/span>
shit eh?<\/span>
life just ain’t fair<\/span>
<\/span>
a woman I work with has been going to doctor’s for months<\/span>
to find out why she’s been getting these unrelenting headaches<\/span>
she’s had 3 MRI’s that have all come back clean<\/span>
but she keeps going back cos the pain in her head <\/span>
makes her want to blow her own head off…<\/span><\/p>\n

she goes to a specialist on Friday<\/span>
and he says that she has a tumor in her head<\/span>
big enough to require an operation<\/span>
and it’s benign but hey<\/span>
it’s brain surgery<\/span>
<\/span>
shit eh?
life just ain’t fair<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>
I know this lady<\/span>
I’ve known her about a year and a half<\/span>
she’s rubbed me the wrong way once er twice<\/span>
she frenetic…and needs to be the center of attention<\/span>
I find out today that it’s residual effects of life changing trauma<\/span>
<\/span>

so I have alopeacia<\/span>
and I have crohn’s disease<\/span>
and I have a hiatus hernia<\/span>
and I have bronchitis<\/span>
and I have inflammatory arthritis<\/span>
etc etc etc<\/span>

but shit eh?<\/span>
I know life just ain’t fair<\/span>
