Beth Hart – Learning to Live

I keep my head on straight
And my eyes wide open
I try to move forward
Wishing and hoping
I took a hold of myself
In the middle of November
Don’t you look back now
Is all I can remember

I feel like I’m leaving
Like I’m leaving home
Like the clouds are parting, and I’m not alone

I’m learning to live
Living to learn
Starting to sing my song
Right, or wrong
Breaking away
Setting me free
Free to be, my own me
I’m learning to live

I got my vanity crisis
From my beautiful mother
I’m not gonna go there
I’m anything other
Take another deep breath now
It’s just one more hurdle
I’m breaking this line
Before it comes full circle

I feel like I’m leaving
Like I’m leaving home
Like the clouds are parting, and I’m not alone

I’m learning to live
Living to learn
Starting to sing my song
Right, or wrong
Breaking away
Setting me free
Free to be, my own me

I found a place, where I can lay my shit down
Somewhere that I can finally be myself – be myself

I’m learning to live
Living to learn
Starting to sing my song
Right, or wrong
Breaking away
Setting me free
Free to be, my own me

I’m learning to live
(Living to learn)
(Starting to sing my song) living to learn
(Right, or wrong)
I’m breaking away
Setting me free
Free to be, my own me
I’m learning to live

Biggest Full Moon of the Year

BIGGEST FULL MOON OF THE YEAR: The biggest full Moon of 2009 is coming this weekend. It’s a perigee Moon as much as 30% brighter than lesser moons we’ll see in the months ahead. January 10, 2009

Perigean tides:
A perigee Moon brings with it extra-high “perigean tides,” but this is nothing to worry about, according to NOAA. In most places, lunar gravity at perigee pulls tide waters only a few centimeters (an inch or so) higher than usual. Local geography can amplify the effect to about 15 centimeters (six inches)–not exactly a great flood.

January 8, 2009: When last month’s full Moon rose over Florida, onlooker Raquel Stanton of Cocoa Beach realized that something was up.

“The Moon was stunningly gorgeous–and it looked bigger than usual!” she says. “My whole family noticed and watched in awe.”

Like millions of others around the world, she had witnessed the biggest full Moon of 2008–a “perigee Moon,” 14% wider and 30% brighter than lesser Moons she had seen before. “I’ll never forget it.”

Alert: It’s about to happen again.
